Peter Weiler is a Hungarian multimedia artist working primarily with digital tools.
Weiler often blends art history and the contemporary art scene in his colorful works, juxtaposing the banality of modern city life with the privileges and comfort of our society. His practice revolves around storytelling, where often the most important parts are the invisible, left-out or missing elements.
Weiler was the first Hungarian artist to sell an NFT artwork for cryptocurrency. He is among the leading Hungarian figures researching and working in the crypto art world.
He graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1996 and after spending two years in the USA he moved back to Budapest where he currently works. In 2021 Weiler graduated from School of Visual Arts Master of Fine Arts program in New York.

What you need to know about us!
Nick Gallery is a contemporary art gallery operating in Hungary, including Pécs, which we founded
in 2013.
In our gallery on the main square of the historical center of Pécs, we organize exhibitions for
talented contemporary artists on a monthly basis.
We offer the opportunity to introduce ourselves to both Hungarian and foreign artists, and we also
sell the exhibited works!
During our nearly 10 years of operation, we have managed to build an extensive system of
domestic and international contacts, thanks to which we have been able to present many excellent
artists to those interested, art collectors!
As we regularly look for young talent and monitor international trends, we were the first in Hungary
to launch our NFT gallery called Nick NFT Gallery!
We are constantly presenting more and more artists and the NDP works they have created.
Of course, as in the case of our physical gallery, the most important aspect for us in terms of digital
works is to offer you real, exciting works of art!

To buy the creations, you must first buy yourself some Ethereum:
1. Choose a reliable crypto exchange: As a first step, look for reliable and well-known crypto exchanges such
as Coinbase, Binance, Kraken or Gemini.
2. Register and verify your data: Register and confirm your identity on the page of the given crypto
exchange. You can usually do this by uploading a picture of your ID and a selfie with your ID.
3. Add a source: After you have registered and confirmed your identity, you need to add a payment source,
such as a bank card or bank transfer. Please note that the payment methods available on the crypto
exchange site may vary.
4. Select Ethereum: After adding your payment source, search for Ethereum on the exchange. Ethereum is
identified by the symbol ETH.
5. Buy Ethereum: When you have selected Ethereum, enter the amount of Ethereum you want to buy, then
click the "Buy" button.
6. Store your Ethereum: Once you buy Ethereum, it will immediately appear on the exchange in your
account. However, to avoid risks, it is recommended that you transfer Ethereum to your own wallet.
We use the Metamask wallet and we recommend using it to store the purchased Ethereum, and the
purchased NFT works are also stored in this wallet.
How to create a Metamask account and buy an art NFT:
Steps to create a Metamask account:
1. Download and install the Metamask extension in your browser (for example, the Chrome browser).
2. Open the Metamask extension, then click the "Create a Wallet" button.
3. Follow the instructions to create your account, including entering your password and saving your private
key (the private key is very important because you can use it to access your account).
Steps to Upload Ethereum with Metamask:
1. Click on the Metamask extension in the browser, then select your Metamask account.
2. Click the "Deposit" button in your Metamask account.
3. Choose from which Ethereum address we want to transfer the money to our Metamask account (if we
have one).
4. Copy the address of our Metamask account and give it to our financial service provider, which will
complete the transaction.
Steps to purchase an art NFT in the gallery using Metamask:
1. Click on the wallet button in the upper right corner of the gallery, so you can log in to your Metamask
account.
2. After we have connected, the ID of our wallet will appear in the upper corner. After that, we just have to
select the artwork we like and click the "Buy" button to purchase the art NFT.
3. If the transaction was successful, the NFT gallery will send the art NFT to our Metamask account.
Important note: All transactions take place via the Ethereum blockchain, so the turnaround time for certain
transactions can be up to a few minutes until the given transaction is included in the blockchain. We always
check whether the transaction was successful based on notifications from Metamask.
