Art statement ZJ 2023 A geometrikus, konkrét irányzathoz sorolható művészeti alapállásom a pécsi Lantos-iskola 80-as éveinek szellemiségéből eredeztethető. Az alapvetően a konkrét művészet módszere szerinti műveletekkel dolgozom. Munkáim konkrét fizikai, szín és formalogikai folyamatok egyensúlyi helyzetének síkban és térben való rögzítései. Azt az állapotot keresem, ahol az anyag és a forma eggyé válik egy virtuális imaginárius térben. Szobraim, reliefjeim minimális külső behatásra keletkező belső anyagfeszültségek eredőjeként, valójában önmagukat építik fel. Az anyag, forma és színkontrasztok vizuális feszültsége a minimális sík és térbeli elmozdulásokból adódik, melyek rendszere egy azonosítható, saját esztétikai formanyelv létrejöttét eredményezte számomra. Az ily módon redukált formarend dekonstrukciói nyitottságukban reagálnak a környezetükben zajló történésekre, jelentéstartamukban túllépve a konkrét vizuális rend határain. Munkáim középpontjában a magas szintű kortárs technológiákat alkalmazó elemi alapformák tervezése áll. Munkáim átlépik a művészet, az alkalmazott művészet, a funkcionális design és a szabad formadó művészeti kategória határait. My basic artistic position, which can be classified as geometric, concrete, stems from the spirit of the Lantos School in Pécs in the 1980s. I work with operations that basically follow the method of concrete art. My work is a recording of the equilibrium of concrete physical, colour and formal processes in plane and space. I seek the state where matter and form become one in the virtual, imaginary space. My sculptures and reliefs, as the result of internal material tensions arising from minimal external influences, are in fact self-constructing. The visual tension of material, form and colour contrasts is the result of minimal planar and spatial displacements, a system of which has led me to create an identifiable aesthetic language of form. The deconstructions of the thus reduced formal order respond in their openness to the events in their environment, transcending the boundaries of the concrete visual order in their meaningfulness. My work focuses on the design of elementary basic forms using high level contemporary technologies. My work crosses the boundaries of art, applied art, functional design and free-form art categories.
