Biacsics Renáta / Renya I have been living and working in Pécs for 10 years, I also completed my higher education here at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Arts, Graphic Design department. My digital drawings deal with trivial day to day problems and often touch upon Hungarian public life and social situation. Simple scenes are mixed with a wry humor. Subtitled parts appear as part of the composition, making the images evocative of the world of comic books. From a technical point of view, they are reminiscent of pen-and-ink drawings mixed with paper collage. I am also interested in simplification and naivety during the creation of my work, which is why I do not draw with a drawing pad, but with a mouse, thus incorporating the contingency of lines into the composition.
